Shirley Johnson Estate - Pottery Auction
Northern Clay Center presents pottery from the estate of Shirley Johnson, a long-time NCC studio artist, teacher, and avid gardener.  Selected pots from her overall collection have been chosen for this online auction. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of Shirley Johnson's estate pottery will support NCC’s Anonymous Potter Studio Fellowship, intended to support an emerging potter through the provision of a private studio space for a 12-month period.

Shirley was part of an environment of fellow artists who made work that is often referred to as "Mingei-sota" pottery.  We are pleased to offer this great collection of beloved brown pots, primarily from the 1970's and early 1990's.

Closing bids are posted.

Thank you to all of you who participated!  We will be processing paperwork and notifying winners when work is ready to pick up.
