American Pottery Festival
Join us for the 18th Annual American Pottery Festival, September 9 – 11. Our annual fundraiser will gather artists from across the country and across processes, forms, and aesthetics and will kick-off with our Opening Night Party on Friday, September 9, 2016.
The American Pottery Festival is a three-day event orchestrated to appeal to clay lovers and is NCC’s primary fundraiser each year. Artists from all over the country, emerging and well-established collectors, and young and old students of the craft, converge for an inspiring weekend of education, conversation, and lots and lots of pots.
Each year, the artist roster includes national artists we rarely see in this area, local artists we want to see more of, and emerging artists who spark our interest. 2016’s artist roster will be no different and promises to provide a wide range of voices in clay as well as learning opportunities. The festival always presents the chance to engage with artists through image presentations, workshops, gallery chats, and panel discussions.
The APF Preview Show is your chance to see a small sampling of work from each 2016 artist. The show runs from April 7 through May 1 in our sales gallery . We will also represent many of these artists during the NCECA conference in Kansas City, March 15 – 18 (see page 6). NCC invites you to visit us at our Gallery Expo booth at NCECA to be the first to see their collective work at a special Preview opening reception on the evening of March 15.
