Artists Services 
NCC directly supports the creative work of clay artists through individual grants and access to studio facilities and specialized equipment. The Center provides individual financial support through five ARTIST GRANT programs:

Residencies for Ceramic Artists:
  • McKnight Residency Grants for Ceramic Artists – for mid-career artists outside of Minnesota (two to four grants, through application); application deadline is Friday, April 19, 2013 by 5 pm.*
  • Fogelberg Studio Fellowships – for emerging artists (two grants awarded through the provision of a single shared private studio space for a 12-month period, through application); application deadline is Friday, April 19, 2013 by 5 pm.*  
  • Anonymous Potter Studio Fellowship – also for emerging potters (through the provision of a single private studio space for a 12-month period); application deadline is Friday, April 19, 2013 by 5 pm.*        

Grants Dollars for MN Based Ceramic Artists:

  • Jerome Project Grants – for emerging artists, from Minnesota (three project grants, through application); application deadline is Friday, February 22, 2013 by 5 pm.*
  • McKnight Fellowship Grants for Ceramic Artists – for mid-career artists from Minnesota (two fellowship grants, through application); application deadline is Friday, April 19, 2013 by 5 pm.*
    *These are not post-marked deadlines.

Thirty-four spaces of varying size are available through the STUDIO PROGRAM for one- to three-year licenses, renewable for a maximum of 10 years. Applications are reviewed twice a year, in April and November.

In addition, NCC supports clay artists through teaching contracts, exhibitions and sale of work.
