Guided Study in Ceramic Sculpture and Handbuilt Pottery

Students can express themselves through clay in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere, while using handbuilding techniques such as pinching, coiling, and slab construction explore functional and sculptural possibilities in clay.  Emphasis will be placed on individual creative expression.  Participants should come to the first class with project ideas and are welcome to use both low- and high-temperature clay bodies and glazes.  Designed for students with previous clay experience who flourish in an unstructured environment.
