Artist Statement

I've made things from clay since I was a kid. Materials and techniques have
certainly been refined but the act of manipulating wet clay still holds my
attention.

My work is generally functional; most forms evolving from pieces I enjoy
using to prepare and serve the foods I love. Simple beauty in the artifacts
of daily life is my goal.
