Schedule

MacKenzie pots will be sold Tuesday though Friday during regular business hours on a completely random basis, as available.  We will not announce when they will be available, nor will we answer phone calls.

Terms of Sale:

  • ONE PIECE PER HOUSEHOLD PER 30 DAYS.
  • All purchasers will be required to provide name, address and phone number.
  • No member discount.
  • No holds or payment plans.
  • No phone or email orders.
  • NO EXCEPTIONS.

Warren MacKenzie "Kid Shelf"

  • As available.
  • Purchasers must be age 10 and under.
  • All pieces are $0.50, payable with CASH only.
  • One piece per "kid" per month.

Note:

We at Northern Clay Center accept that the US is a market economy; however, we and Warren MacKenzie find it disheartening to see his pieces move rapidly from NCC to the secondary market. Northern Clay Center will continue to track each piece that is purchased from our gallery. If the piece originally bought at NCC is found on the secondary market within 1 year from the purchase date, NCC will refuse sales of MacKenzie pieces to that household for 1 year.

Warren MacKenzie: American Potter
Warren MacKenzie: American Potter NCC is pleased to offer for sale the limited-edition re-issue of the comprehensive book on Warren MacKenzie and his ceramic work. Following much anticipation for the reappearance of the out-of print David Lewis book, Warren Mackenzie: An American Potter, Unicom published a completely re-designed second edition of the Lewis text, re-titled Warren MacKenzie: American Potter.  Designed by Christina Fortier, with an introduction by Robert Silberman, the book presents, through the beautiful photography of Peter Lee, works produced by MacKenzie over the the course of his career as a potter, from his student work to his most recent, never-before-photographed pieces decorated by Nancy MacKenzie. Lewis revised his original text, and included a new afterword.

This special edition of 300 includes a silk covered box and an 8x10 silver gelatin print of a signed Warren MacKenzie portrait. Limited quantities available.
