Gift Registries

About Gift Registries at Northern Clay Center
Northern Clay Center’s gallery provides a Gift Registry service for couples wanting to select handmade dinnerware, serving pieces, and special occasion pieces for their wedding. Couples wishing to register may come in to the Clay Center for a registry consultation. We will guide you through our collection and let you know which artists might be open to making sets of work, and which pieces may be put on hold.

Couples can choose to either have a few things on their registry, and allow guests to come in and have the staff show them those pieces. Or, couples can choose to have NCC post images of the ceramic work, quantity requested, and pricing information on our website. We will provide a link to this page that can be included in invitations or emailed. Long distance guests can then call and order gifts over the phone, or locals can come in to the shop to see and shop the wares. The charge for creating this link is $30. Wedding couples then have 30 days after their wedding to exchange any items or purchase work that was put on hold for their registry.

The NCC Gallery stocks gift boxes and bows; we also provide packing and shipping for any long distance gift-giving needs. NCC is also willing to work with couples who wish to commission wedding presents for guests. We have commissioned artists to make bud vases, bread plates, tumblers, and more for wedding guests to take home with them from their spot at the wedding table. These ceramics are an important part of each place setting and then function as a wonderful piece in each guests home after the party is over.
