The Education Coordinator position is responsible for collective development and onsite management of educational programs, classes and workshops for adults and youth, and for administering evaluation for such programs, as well as and hiring and managing teaching artists affiliated with such programs. The Education Coordinator will operate and support NCC’s MN NICE program and NICE2, which are in their sixth and third years, respectively. This position works closely with NCC’s Deputy Director of Operations & Director of Learning/Artist Services and NCC’s Studio Manager to advance NCC’s educational programs, to maintain education facilities, and to provide special education convenings, trainings and professional development opportunities to NCC’s student learners. This position supports the Director of Learning/Artist Services with the oversight of NCC’s overarching building and equipment needs; the management of contractors for specific technical and mechanical services; and the budgeting for equipment, supplies and facility maintenance.
