Request a Grant Info Session

NCC proudly facilitates six grant programs for current students, recent graduates, emerging, and mid-career artists, as well as our MN NICE program which provides personalized professional development for artists who are serious about taking the next step in their ceramic evolution. The program is designed to respond to the changing needs of emerging makers with high-level training and mentorship in ceramic materials, history and theory, and professional practice.

Information on all of our programs are listed on our website.

If you are interested in having an information session at your organization --  whether in Minnesota or around the country, in-person or electronically -- we are always happy to take our show on the road to share these professional development opportunities for ceramic artists at all levels.

Northern Clay Center encourages applicants who represent the full range of artistic styles, and is committed to supporting a diverse pool of artists whose work demonstrates strong artistic merit. Accordingly, awards for our grant programs will represent, as possible, artists and initiatives that are diverse in genre, expertise, gender, race, ethnicity, and geography.
