San Francisco, California
Diana Fayt studied at the California College of Arts and Crafts, where she experimented with printmaking and ceramics, and earned a BFA. Fayt began designing for Synergy soon after relocating to San Francisco. Her tenure with Synergy sent her to Hungary and a factory in Hodmezovasar-hely (Beavertown) where the Diana Fayt collection was produced. The work was imported and sold in the US from 1998 until 2002. Since then, Fayt has continued to produce her own enigmatic, one of a kind work. She has had solo shows in the US and Tokyo; been featured in several, American, European, and Japanese publications; and continues to sell her work here and abroad. She resides in San Francisco where she maintains her studio and teaches classes on her “etching in clay” technique.
