Linda Arbuckle’s work in majolica-glazed earthenware has been recognized through an Artists' Fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts, as well as a Florida Individual Artists' Fellowship. Line, color, gesture, and the lure of materiality articulate the value of indulgence and the transience of (plant) life.” Arbuckle is a retired Professor of Ceramics at the School of Art and Design, University of Florida, Gainesville.
