Linda Christianson is a studio potter based in Minnesota. She participates in the yearly Potters' Studio Tour of the upper St. Croix River valley of Minnesota where her studio and wood fired kiln are located. She received her BA from Hamline University and attended the two-year Ceramic Studio Workshop at the Banff Centre School of Fine Arts in Alberta, Canada. Christianson has received awards from the National Endowment for the Arts (1993), the Minnesota State Arts Board (1999), and two McKnight Foundation fellowships from Northern Clay Center. Her subtle, spontaneous work is found in collections across North America and is exhibited widely. Her goal is to make a better cup each day.
