Michael Eden identifies himself as a member of a unique generation that has bridged the digital divide. A professional potter until 2006, he changed the direction of his work after pursuing a Master's degree at the Royal College of Art. His separate pursuits mean he is “able to contrast and compare life before and after the invention of the personal computer.” His work has received numerous awards, including most recently "Designer-Maker of the Year" from the Cumbria Life Culture Awards.
