Artist Lecture: Paula Jean Rice

Sculptor Paula Rice will visit NCC during her residency at the Anderson Center in Red Wing, MN. Living at 7000 feet altitude in Flagstaff, Arizona, site of the discovery of Pluto, she is a passionate observer of the clear night skies. Her interests include the nature and mystery of the human body, and our place in the cosmos. Rice is Professor Emerita of Art in the School of Art at Northern Arizona University where she taught in the ceramics area from 1987 until 2011.
