In collaboration with Anoka-Ramsey Community College (ARCC) and funded by the Minnesota State Arts Board’s Arts Access program, Northern Clay Center presents a series of intensive ceramic workshops for Minnesota art educators.  Join ceramic artist/educator Ursula Hargens (Minneapolis, MN) and local ceramic artist Mark Lambert (Ramsey, MN) in this 6-day, ARCC-hosted workshop designed to enrich Minnesota Art Educators' existing classroom curriculum and resources, as well as deepen and inspire their own studio practice.  This particular session will include demonstrations and hands-on instruction, lesson plans for your classroom, as well as historical and social context, with special attention to Native American ceramics, Mingei aesthetics, and soda-firing methods.
