October/November Featured Artists: Eshelman, Gebben, Greenheck
Did someone say SETS!? As you prepare your table for the holidays, and all the dinner parties that inevitably ensue, consider including the handmade ceramics of this month’s Featured Artists. They each create series that make it easy to bring home a cohesive collection for everyday use. The slipcast terracotta pots by Paul Eshelman are architecturally clean and the glazes are rich and soft to the touch. Willem Gebben’s work is evocative of our Midwestern region's studio pottery tradition, with dark-black glazes and a milk chocolate clay body. Ryan Greenheck uses porcelain to create functional pieces that work well individually, but will leave you wanting a tableful of these graceful forms.
