ART@HAND à la carte

Vital Aging Programs

Any combination of NCC’s ART@HAND programs can be tailored for your family or organization. NCC's experienced staff and teaching artists will make the planning process easy, ensuring a memorable and successful experience.

All events can be scheduled during weekdays, evenings, or weekends. We create a custom program, adapted to the needs of your population and to the strengths of NCC’s teaching artists. Call for pricing information. We have secured some grant funding and are dedicated to finding continuing partners to make these important programs available to a broader audience.  Sustainability is key to the success of our programming, so we welcome conversations about ways in which to ensure long-term collaborations.

Tour Northern Clay Center at any time for free. Schedule a tour for your group, or stop by for a drop-in tour during designated hours each weekend.

Create sculpture or pots in a custom workshop at NCC or your facility. We are experts at adapting to challenges and limitations specific to every age group. Workshops last between 1 and 3 hours.

Drop-In at one of our free, intergenerational open-house events, including hands-on workshops and artists talks. Check our website for complete details.

Schedule an ongoing class at our studios. Whether you come for two sessions or twelve, we will design projects that allow you to drop-in for an introduction or continue to build on your skills. Meet weekly, bi-weekly, or whenever you want.

Organize a demonstration or workshop at your facility. Great for our limited-mobility partners! We will provide all the materials, fire the projects at NCC, and return the completed pieces to your residents in a timely fashion.

Be inspired as you watch an artist make a pot on the potter’s wheel. Call ahead to schedule.

Learn more about clay and its history from a variety of experts in our ongoing exhibition and lecture series. Call for an up-to-date schedule, check our website, or subscribe to our printed newsletter.

Come for a tour, demo, or lecture with no obligation for additional classes—we would love to share our passion for ceramics with you!
