Northern Clay Center Updates

Hello everyone,

We trust and hope you are discovering ways to fill your time and your soul these days. We are just checking in to let you know that we are still here and creating new strategies for serving our community while doing everything we can to keep NCC’s everyday organization needs met too.

As many of you know, our Minnesota Stay At Home Executive Order was extended until May 4, 2020. While our entire building, including galleries, studios, and office, will be closed through this date, we are working from our homes to bring you fresh ways to engage with ceramics and the clay people you love. We are also mindfully evaluating all future community engagements, exhibitions, and classes to ensure we are as safe as possible as we move forward into the coming months and year.

For educators, and anyone else looking for lesson plans and artist lectures, our Education Team is adding online content for you. Keep checking often, as we are continuously adding new resources.

We also introduced a new online Pop-Up Gallery featuring the artists we would have represented at the NCECA Gallery Expo, American Pottery Festival 2020 artists, and our Featured Artists for April. As the weeks go by, please check in for new additions from some of our full-time sales gallery artists as well.

Thank you to all of you who are supporting artists and NCC by purchasing work, gift cards, and making donations. Thank you for staying home, being creative about ways to get creative, and doing the best you can to summon optimism. Thank you for standing by one another, and for any and all good the world gets from you today. It all matters.
