Join NCC for a fabulous and fun summertime clay adventure!
Each summer, NCC offers over 15 teaching assistantships and one paid internship for college students and recent high school graduates, ages 18 and older. Last year, approximately 400 children participated in our weeklong camps, designed for all ability levels, for ages 6 and up.
Minnesota New Institute for Ceramic Education is celebrating its 5th Anniversary on Friday, March 8, from 6 – 8 pm with a reception for the Ideal Made Real: MN NICE exhibition. The exhibition is supported by Northern Clay Center and will be on view from March 8 – April 6, 2019 at the Vine Arts Center.

Northern Clay Center staff doesn’t have to travel far to participate in the 53rd annual conference, held by the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts (NCECA), March 26 – 30, 2019. Minneapolis is hosting the upcoming conference and NCC staff, board, and what will be an army of volunteers, couldn’t be more thrilled at the less than three-mile commute to the Minneapolis Convention Center! NCC’s own Sarah Millfelt is serving NCECA as one of the onsite liaisons for the conference, and this is shaping up to be what she thinks is one of the most dynamic conferences ever!
