Jennifer Rogers, Professor of Art and Gallery Director at Coe College, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is a multi-media artist working primarily with large installations. Rogers is a previous Jerome Ceramic Artist Project Grant recipient, and exhibits throughout the United States. Her studio practice is “an investigation of labor, routine, compulsion, repetition, and home, [as she] attempts to uncover some underlying structures that define contemporary life. Her work examines the cyclical patterns created through various daily activities, such as the preservation of home and body, through piles and stacks of ordinary household objects.”
