Jeremy Jr. Kane, associate professor of ceramics at the University of Alaska Southeast, received his MFA from Ohio University, Athens, OH, and then became a resident at the Archie Bray Foundation where he received the Taunt Fellowship. He has most recently exhibited in Decalomaniacs, Red Lodge Clay Center, Red Lodge, MT; La Mesa, Santa Fe Clay, NCECA Kansas City, MO; and Graphic Clay, Baltimore Clay Works, Baltimore, MD. He states that his pieces “contain bright colors and narratives about specifically American attributes. They embody everyday common images… Semi-trucks, flames, American flags, mud-flap ladies, and humorous phrases are appropriated on the forms.”​
