Elizabeth Coleman received an MFA in ceramics from Ohio State University and a BFA in ceramics and glass from the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign. She was a 2010 Jerome Ceramic Artist Project Grant recipient and currently is a Northern Clay Center studio artist, as well as NCC's publications assistant. Her work has been exhibited in Hungary and nationally at venues such as the Canton Art Museum, Canton, Ohio; the Plains Art Museum in Fargo, North Dakota; and the 2008 NCECA Invitational: Voices, at the Society for Contemporary Craft in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
