Holly Walker

Holly Walker received her MFA in ceramics from Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and a BFA in painting from Ohio University, Athens, Ohio. Her experiences in ceramics have led her all over the country as an educator and studio potter. From 1990 – 1995 she was the executive director of Watershed Center for the Ceramic Arts in Edgecomb, Maine, and has taught at Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, Deer Isle, Maine, and at Penland School of Crafts in Penland, North Carolina. Her work has been shown widely across the United States, most recently at the 2013 NCECA exhibition Dwelling on the Gulf: Ceramic Artists Respond to the Architecture of Galveston. Walker’s work is in the permanent collection of the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts, San Angelo, Texas.
