Chris Antemann earned a BFA in ceramics and painting from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and an MFA in ceramics from the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities. Antemann has been the recipient of numerous awards and residencies, receiving the Virginia A. Groot grant, and working at both the Archie Bray Foundation in Helena, MT, and the John Michael Kohler Arts Center in Sheboygan, WI, where she was an NEA-funded resident. Spending her time between Joseph, OR, and Meissen, Germany, Antemann has been working and exhibiting in the US and abroad. In 2013 Antemann had a solo exhibition, Forbidden Fruit: A Porcelain Paradise, produced in collaboration with the Meissen Porcelain Manufactory’s art CAMPUS, Museum of Art MEISSEN, Meissen, Germany. Her work can be found in numerous public and private collections.
