Kelly Connole

Kelly Connole, received her MFA from San Francisco State University and a BFA from the University of Montana in Missoula. Connole “combines the tactile nature of clay with images of memories and emotions, addressing relationships within environments: natural and constructed, human and animal.” Her artwork has been exhibited across the country, notably at the NCECA Biennial at the Kentucky Art Museum in Louisville, the NCECA Invitational at the Bellevue Arts Museum in Washington, and the Contemporary Crafts Museum in Portland, Oregon. She has also been the recipient of numerous awards and honors, receiving a Jerome Ceramic Artist Project Grant, Minnesota State Arts Board Grant, and a McKnight Residency. Connole currently resides in Northfield, Minnesota, where she is an associate professor at Carleton College.
