Free Ceramics

Emily Free Wilson
Helena, Montana

Free Ceramics is a pottery run by husband and wife team Emily Free Wilson and Matt Wilson. Out of their studio in Helena, Montana, they work with artists to create functional porcelain pottery from beginning to end. The style and design of Free Ceramics originated from Emily Free Wilson. Inspired by raindrops, fireworks and flowers, the designs dance across the forms with colorful fervor and whimsy. Wilson received a BFA in ceramics from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 2001. In addition to running Free Ceramics, Wilson directs the gallery at the Archie Bray Foundation for the Ceramic Arts in Helena, Montana.
