Volunteer Tour Guide

Do you love clay? Like to share what you know with others? Enjoy meeting new people? Are you available to volunteer during the workweek? If you answered yes to these questions, we have an exciting program just for you! Participants in the NCC tour guide program will learn about the history of ceramics, gain in-depth knowledge of the Center’s programs and services, as well as learn special tour guiding techniques, and participate in special field trips to local ceramics collections. Selected volunteers will be invited to make a two-year commitment to the Clay Center’s tour guide program. Benefits include a complimentary NCC membership, special recognition events, and access to various NCC lectures and workshops with visiting artists.  Please email education@northernclaycenter.org if you are interested in becoming a tour guide.
