Special Event Volunteer
Special events are a fun way for visitors and volunteers to enjoy Northern Clay Center. Decorate and help stage the galleries, wrap packages, help visitors shop for the perfect gift and learn about the ceramic arts, or simply provide a friendly greeting to all of our visitors. Volunteers are needed for all aspects of special events, from set up to tear down.
Volunteer Tour Guide
Are you looking for a dynamic volunteer position in the arts? Are you passionate about ceramic art? Share your knowledge and enthusiasm as a Northern Clay Center Tour Guide. NCC is accepting applications for its Volunteer Tour Guide Program through August 7th, 2018. The course provides a survey of Minnesota ceramics, ceramics techniques, education theory, touring techniques for all age groups, and the history of Northern Clay Center. A background in ceramics is helpful, though not required. People interested in working with families and visitors with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.
You are required to attend four training sessions (beginning August 17, 2018) with an optional off-site tour.
For more information, call Alison Beech, community engagement manager at 612.339.8007 x313 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
